The BC Centre for Disease Control is recruiting a Communicable Disease Epidemiologist to be responsible for provincial communicable disease control, disease surveillance and outbreak investigation, primarily focused on enteric diseases. The Communicable Disease Epidemiologist manages enteric disease surveillance; outbreak investigation and intervention; provides communicable disease consultation to a broad range of stakeholders including regional health authorities, other provincial and national partners, and health professionals and disseminates critical communicable disease related information through electronic bulletins, prepared reports, presentations and media communications.
